Jodie is a graduate from the Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. Before starting down the path to Massage Therapy, Jodie acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Brock University in St. Catharines (2012-2016). She has let her passion for health and wellness guide her in her interests for working with rehabilitative and an injury prevention style of care.
She has always been motivated and driven to live an active lifestyle from jiu-jitsu to competitive volleyball, lifting weights, and yoga. Throughout her practice Jodie has developed a passion for optimal movement patterns, breathing techniques, and functional mobility. Jodie utilizes a diverse range of techniques during her treatments which may include myofascial release, stretching, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Since beginning her practice as a Massage Therapist, Jodie has since completed her Yoga Teacher Training (200 Hours) and has additional training in Cranial Sacral Therapy (Level 1), Perinatal massage, and Infant massage.
Jodie believes movement is medicine and she strives to get her clients to the healthiest, happiest version of themselves by eliminating pain and inflammation in the body.
When Jodie is not working with clients you’ll often find her hiking, travelling, or practicing handstands in a yoga studio.
